![]() But let’s face it, most fan theories about movies in general are false, but they’re still fun to come up with and believe in your head. Is this all what Pixar intended? Maybe not all of it. And remember when Jack Jack kept disappearing to somewhere in Incredibles 2? I like to think he went to the creature universe, and he’s the child that the bystanders were talking about in the news report in Monsters Inc. I like the idea that Bing Bong was Riley’s monster that worked to make her laugh. I also believe the human and creature universes have crossed over. Three, the creature universe, which has Monsters Inc. Two, the vehicle universe, which is where Cars and Planes take place (I know Planes wasn’t Pixar, but it’s clearly supposed to be a spin off of Cars) One, the human universe, this has Toy Story, Brave, The Incredibles, Wall-E, basically any Pixar film that has humans. So far, I believe there are three universes that we’ve seen. His basic conceit was that the Pixar timeline is essentially a power struggle between 3 factions (robots/machines/AI, humans, and animals. That being said, I do believe the films take place in the same multiverse. The Pixar Theory was created by a man called Jon Negroni, who was inspired by a video called Why Pixar Movies Are All Secretly About The Apocalypse and decided to take it farther than they did. I don’t think the Pixar Theory is true, just because the whole idea that animals slowly started to resent humans, then humans and animals go to war and the animals basically win, is a little dark for a series of family films. Theories like these usually don't last long to begin with, (getting back to the Disney Animated Canon, that too had a theory where all of their films shared the same continuity, but most people gave up on that theory shortly after Moana came out.) but let me know your thoughts! ![]() I feel like at one point it's eventually gonna crack. Or are we already starting to reach that point with Elemental lmao. So, for believers and skeptics alike here, I ask the titular question: do you think there's ever gonna be a day where the Pixar Theory truly BREAKS? A film that comes by and makes the theory so nonsensical that there's really just no way that it can ever bounce back? What would that be like for you. Now, I do wanna clarify that I am NOT attacking anyone who is trying to piece together the Pixar theory, and if anyone who is a believer wants to clarify things and help me make more sense of it, that'd be awesome! Pretty sure Enrico confirmed Albero's dad wasn't name Bruno BTW, not even getting into the logic of throwing the mainstream Disney Animated Canon into a Pixar Centric Timeline but that's getting off topic) but despite ups and downs, nothing seems to be stopping the people trying to make sure everything fits. Erm, interesting (Onward being set on an alien planet and Bruno Madrigal being Alberto's father comes to mind. ![]() Most of the theories I've seen trying to connect the more recent Pixar movies into it are. I mean its mostly fallen out of favor in a lot of circles, but there's still a lot of people still trying to cling onto it for one reason or the other. ![]() Quite honestly, I'm mostly just shocked this thing is still going on after such a long time. Soooo, back to the main topic: the Pixar Theory. I've lurked around here for a bit after getting myself back into a big Disney and Pixar mood so. First off, hello! Semi-new guy here that hasn't properly introduced himself. ![]()
